A dollar from each t-shirt sold is forwarded to RoomToRead, an organization started by John Wood, the author of Leaving Microsoft to Change the World.

While on a trek to the Annapurna region of Nepal in search of an escape from the daily corporate grind, he comes across a local school teacher whose words forever changed his path. What started as a promise to provide a school with some children’s books has today grown into a non-profit organization that operates in various developing nations.

Room to Read partners with local communities throughout the developing nations to provide quality educational opportunities by establishing libraries, creating local language children’s literature, constructing schools, providing education to girls and establishing computer labs.

We remain committed in supporting Room To Read in their efforts of changing the world through educated children.

It has become more important than ever for us all to make a commitment in reducing the negative foot print on our planet.

Every year, thousands of pounds of pesticides, insecticides, and other chemical fertilizers are used to grow conventional cotton, in order to maximize profits. Once those chemicals mix with the soil, it affects the fragile eco-system for years to come.
