MakaluWear Adventure Photo Contest
With our Adventure Photo Contest, the playing fields are even. It makes very little difference as to how fancy your camera, or how much knowledge you have about the right aperture or shutter speed. What matters is being somewhere in the great outdoors, doing something totally awesome to capture the moment and win the MakaluWear Adventure Photo Contest.
Photo Contest Winner: Alexandre Buisse
Photo Contest Winner: Alexandre Buisse
Info: Two climbers on the crux of the ascent of Nevado Chopicalqui, 6345m/21,000ft, Cordillera Blanca, Peru. It was an exposed and badly protected crevasse, right below the summit. Several rope teams had turned around there on the previous day, but we managed to get through and reach the summit.
Check out more of Alexandre's adventures on his site, http://www.alexandrebuisse.org/
Those are some awesome pictures. We look forward to seeing more pics from your future adventures. We hope you enjoy your new MakaluWear tees.
Good Luck.
Big thanks to all those who participated in the contest.

John in Manang, Nepal
Bouldering in Manang, Nepal
(the first n last accent by John, as the boulder was blown up after a few days to help in the construction of the local school. An awesome boulder problem destroyed for a cause.
Just another piece of rock for the locals but a sad sight for any climber.

John and me (Yelamber) hoping the scripts on the rocks were not about gods or prayers.
A fun boulder !
